Battling Tiers

Here's a tier list for anyone who would like to see what tiers their pokemon fall into, or anyone who's making a new team. I thought it'd be helpful. ^^;;

This will probably be revised and such, so just point out any pokemon that you think is in the wrong place on this board, or in a PM to me. Also, please alert me if any pokemon are listed twice. There may be mistakes, since I got this information from different sources.

Tier Definitions:

Ubers - Pokémon too powerful for OU; a catch-all playing field. In competitive battling in this tier, anything goes as far as Pokémon allowed. All uber pokemon are legendaries, except for one.

Overused (OU) - Pokémon who are used frequently in battle. These pokemon tend to have good stats and move-pools, and are considered strong. In a OU battle, anything besides ubers are allowed. (OU is often called Standard)

Borderline (BL) - Any pokemon that are too strong for UU, but not strong enough for OU are trapped in the limbo of BL. However, sometimes the pokemon are strong enough, but are overshadowed by a similar, better counterpart, and therefore are not a popular choice. It is important to represent usage as well as power in the tiers; BL pokemon (for the most part) are pokemon with the strength of OU, but not the popularity.

Underused (UU) - Pokémon that are not used often and are relatively weak, compared to OU and BL pokemon. However, they do make appearances in specific UU battles.

Never-Used (NU) - Pokemon considered essentially unusable; extremely unpopular.
