I'm bored and I have a sad obsession with religions and mythology (both real and fake). D:
I'm going to just assume that the legendaries on the Contribute a Discovery board will be accepted.
Basic timeline
Arceus/Akasha created Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. Dialga and Palkia created time and space, and Giratina controled the balance between life and death.
Arceus/Akasha created Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, bringing Knowledge, Emotion, and Willpower
Filled with new knowledge, feelings, and the ability to make its own choices, Giratina left and hid in the alternate-realm
Arceus/Akasha created Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, and the Nobi Trio
Kyogre, with help from Nif, created the oceans. Groudon, with help from Niatoum, created the continents, and Rayquaza, with help from Niar, created the skys. Together, they created Earth.
Nif, Niatoum, and Niar keep watch over the three major creators, keeping the Earth in balance.
Arceus/Akasha created Heatran to create volcanoes - bringing about the possibility of new landmasses. Heatran hides away in the last landmass created: Mt. Stark.
Arceus/Akasha created Regigigas to move the continents.
Arceus/Akasha created Mew to populate Earth with Pokemon
Arceus/Akasha created Regirock, Regice, and Registeel to guard Regigigas and Mew
Frozon is created to protect Giratina's realm, the Underworld, while Divire is created to protect the Heavens, Arceus's/Akasha's realm.
Arceus/Akasha created Lugia to protect the oceans and Shaymin to protect nature
Arceus/Akasha created Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres to control the elements and call upon Lugia when he is needed
Humans appear
Giratina threatens to hunt humans if they continue to eat Pokemon.
As punishment for hunting Pokemon, Arceus/Akasha created Darkrai to give people nightmares.
Matrinoc was born from the hatred and fear felt by humans.
Matrinoc gave birth to dark/ghost type Pokemon
Arceus/Akasha created Cresselia to bring good dreams to people
Arceus/Akasha created Ho-oh to bring hope, giving it the ability to give life and create rainbows
Humans begin to work together with Pokemon
Latios and Latias are created to watch over humans
Arceus/Akasha goes into a deep slumber
Other legendaries were created through Mew: Celebi, Jirachi, and Manaphy, to keep peace and Galiciane to protect the mystical Quiet Island
Ho-Oh resurrected the spirits of three Pokémon who died in the fire at Burnt Tower, creating Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. Suicune embodies spring and purifies the waters polluted by humans. Entei embodies volcanoes, and it's roar calls Heatron into action. Raikou embodies thunder, and works with Zapdos to create thunder storms.
...I am now officially the biggest dork on the planet.
