Alright, listen up! (Or read up. Heheh.) We'll be having two Platinum Festivals, for when Pokemon Platinum comes out in Japan, and then for when it comes out in America. And so, this is what we'll be doing for them.
The festivals will both be a week long, so no one misses out on the fun. During these times, we will be having contests, chatting about Platinum, and all have Giratina icons on the Japanese release date, Shaymin icons on the American release date. What contests, you're wondering? Read on!
Contests:
-Two battling contests. In these contests, you will be issued five Giratinas(Or six, if you don't have one.). One contest will be for completely legitimate battling, and the other for completely hacked up battling. The winners of both tournaments will be awarded with an exclusive event Giratina.
-A spriting contest. In this contest, you can make a custom or spliced sprite for a different forme of a legendary pokemon. Like Giratina has its Origin forme, you can make a different forme for any other legendary pokemon you like. The creator of the sprite with the most votes will be awarded with an exclusive event Shaymin.
-An art contest. In this contest, you can draw a new forme for a legendary pokemon. Most of the spriting contest stuff apply. The creator of the piece of art with the most votes will be awarded with an exclusive event Mew.
We will also be handing out event starters. Yes, these are our very own exclusive Nobi Platinum Event pokemon! They're all shiny, female, Sinnoh, and have abnormal movesets. However, you can only pick one, so make your decision!
